In a video posted on YouTube on March 2, 2008, two American soldiers in Iraq were videotaped holding a puppy dog by its neck and making fun of it before throwing it off a cliff to its whimpering death.

“Cute, little puppy, huh?” asked the soldier just before he threw it to its death.

“Ahh, so cute, so cute,” replied the other soldier who videotaped the incident.

After the soldiers were done making fun of the puppy, the soldier holding it reared his arm back and flung the creature off the cliff they were standing on.  The puppy whimpered and yelped during it’s decent to the ground.

Once the dog hit the ground below with a hard thud, the two soldiers had a brief conversation about their actions. The soldier taping the event remarked how it was “mean” of the other soldier to do. 

The guilty soldier then shrugged his shoulders in apathy for the life he just took.
